Head BJJ Instructor/Fitness Manager

UFC GYM is currently seeking a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Head Instructor/Fitness Manager.  We desire innovative, passionate and enthusiastic candidates who will encourage our members to reach their goals. The Fitness Manger will report directly to the General Manager on a regular basis 

• Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating UFC GYM BJJ Youth and Adult programs

  • Ensure instructors are following class curriculum, format and regulations

  • Ensure instructors and students are using the UFC GYM BJJ uniform

  • Ensure instructors are following the UFC GYM BJJ stripe and belt promotion system

  • Organize and promote UFC GYM BJJ belt promotions

  • Organize and promote UFC GYM BJJ in house events, tournaments and seminars

  • Collaborate with other UFC GYM BJJ instructors to maintain the integrity of the UFC GYM BJJ program

  • Attend regularly occurring staff meetings and conference calls

  • Ensure trainers are attending ongoing training and certification

  • Foster a sense of team and ownership

  • Regular communication with Owners 

     

• Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must possess a brown and black belt

  • CPR, First Aid and AED is preferable

  • Prior management experience

  • Teaching/coaching in the fitness or MMA industry

  • Be ready to be an important part of a team!

• Location:  Beaverton/Tanasborne

• Compensation: will depend on experience/education plus commissions
